You may recognize some of the terms below from games and everyday life have new definitions in my book.

Black Guard
A fearsome band of marauders dressed all in black who work for the sorceress Cornelia

Familiar
A creature (or creatures) a mage adopts to help them with spells. They do not have to be pets; familiars often roam the wild, but will come a mage when he or she is near
Harem
A group of female servants who usually live in a castle who provide a man sons so that his family may prosper
Mage
Any person with magic
Territory
An island or group of islands in which many people live and at which specific power gems are mined
Power Gem
An elemental gem that has many uses, such as amplifying the power of, aiding in the casting of, and even blocking spells
Saw Plant
A plant with long dark green leaves with one serrated edge as sharp as any saw.
Snake-Eyes
A slang term that refers to the colorless iris of the eyes of any person without magic
Sorceror
Any man who uses his magic for evil
Sorceress
Any woman who uses her magic for evil
Staff
A long metal rod used to perform extraordinary magic
Wand
A short metal rod used to perform common magic
Witch
Slang for a female mage
Wizard
Slang for a male mage
